I found this recipe here. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon recipe!
1 envelope alfredo sauce mix
4 cups water
1-14 ounce can chicken
8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
8 ounce package frozen cheese tortellini
ounce can evaporated milk
6 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
Pour 4 cups water into a large crock pot. Slowly whisk in the alfredo sauce mix until blended. Add in chicken broth, mushroom, onion, garlic, and seasonings. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
Stir in frozen tortellini and evaporated milk and cook for 20-30 more minutes. Add in spinach right before serving. Top with some parm and eat! Delicious!
